Meet Tiffany

Tiffany Erickson is a communications and public affairs leader with a background in journalism, government, and civic engagement. She currently oversees external communications at PacifiCorp, supporting public policy and community initiatives across the West. Tiffany has worked in efforts to support large scale renewable energy development and sustainability projects that improve air quality.
Her career includes public service roles with the Salt Lake County Mayor’s Office under Mayor Ben McAdams and outreach work at Utah Valley University. She began as a journalist covering education and state politics and has advised both public and private organizations on strategic messaging.
Tiffany holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s in public administration. She serves on the Utah Shakespeare Festival Board, is active in the Utah Black Chamber, and supports the Bolder Way Forward initiative through the Utah Women in Leadership Project. She lives on Salt Lake City’s west side with her two children – Tau, 11 and Ke’ana, 9.

Election Information
Tiffany is running in a special election to fill the vacancy on the Salt Lake County Council created by Arlyn Bradshaw's resignation.
Who can vote in this election?
- This election will be voted on by Salt Lake County Democratic Party Central Committee members who live in Council District 1. If you have questions about whether you are eligible to vote in this race, please email info@votetiffanyerickson.com.
When and where is the election?
- The special election will take place on Wednesday, June 11th at 6:00 pm. Candidate speeches and voting will take place in the County Council chambers at the Salt Lake County Government Center (2001 S State St, SLC). Virtual participation acommodations will also be available.
How will voting be conducted?
- Voting will be ranked-choice and conducted by electronic ballot, with paper ballots upon request.
